Hello my Lovely followers,
I have a little cake to share, well not so little, its a real big party cake with all of the trimmings and all the surprises that a birthday cake should have. You may be asking why?
Well I’ll tell you why, its Miss Daisy’s the Caravans Birthday!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Daisy. You entered my life 4 years ago and it was love at first sight when I was you in that field! I knew you had to be mine 🙂
Four years of fun and adventures and travel! We have been up and down the country side selling coffee and cakes. We have been to so many great events and meet so many amazing people some who I am now fortunate enough to call friends. Thank you all and thank you Daisy for the amazing journey the last four years has brought me.
What better way to celebrate than with a cake filled with my favourite childhood lollies? I have loved Jelly Belly Beans since, well since forever. As I child I would always get them for Christmas. I would love mixing the flavours up to get get a new flavour, as they always came with a recipe card on what you could make if you ate two or three at the same time. Kinda like baking really…. hmmmm….. maybe thats why I always loved them 🙂
I was asked if I would be interested in baking something with Jelly Belly Beans in it and of course I jumped at the chance, come on who would say no? Well know one in their right mind!!!
I was sent a bag of a NEW type of Bean, yes you heard right a new type. Jelly Belly Bean Jewel Mix!!! They are sparkly, yes thats right they are shiny like the sun with their beautiful pearlescent sheen. Soooooooo pretty with flavours to boot, blueberry, cream soda, bubblegum, sour apple and cherry yum….. heaven. Perfect for making a pinata cake for Miss Daisy, talk about perfect timing!!
I hope you will join me in singing a big Happy Birthday to Miss Daisy as she after all is the love of my life and has given me so many amazing opportunities through her mere existence in my life. Shhhh… don’t tell her I told you she might get a big head and she is so cute being so small 🙂
